Travel Agreement
Between: Guy Michel Music ("Performer")
And: ("Purchaser")
Purpose
This agreement outlines all travel and lodging responsibilities related to the Performer’s appearance for the event booked by the Purchaser.
Travel & Transportation
The Purchaser will pay for roundtrip airfare for 1 performer (Guy Michel), plus 1 assistant if needed.
Performer requires Comfort Plus or similar seating.
The cello will always be carried on the plane and must be allowed overhead or cabin closet space.
Priority boarding must be included to protect the cello.
Purchaser will cover the cost of:
1 checked bag
1 carry-on
1 personal item
Purchaser will also provide transportation to and from the airport, hotel, and venue. (Uber Black, Lyft Lux, or private driver preferred.)
Purchaser must also cover:
Airport parking fees if Performer drives to the airport, OR
Uber/Lyft fare for drop-off and pickup.
Lodging
If using a hotel, it must be a non-smoking 4-star or higher, located within 15 minutes of the venue.
If using an Airbnb, it must be a private unit (not a room in someone’s home) and include WiFi.
Check-out must be scheduled no more than 3 hours before the return flight.
Lodging must be provided for at least one night per event day, with additional nights if needed for travel.
Per Diem
If food is not provided at the event, a $75/day per diem will be required to cover meals and expenses.
Travel Schedule
All travel and lodging must be approved by the Performer before booking.
Arrival should be at least one day before the event.
Return travel must be scheduled no sooner than one day after the event.
Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the event date.
The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 7 days before the event.
For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required upfront.
If Purchaser cancels less than 7 days before the event, the full balance is still owed.
If Performer cancels, all money paid by Purchaser will be fully refunded.
Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delays or cancellations due to events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, travel shutdowns, or illness.
Food & Drink
If food is provided to guests at the event, Performer must also be provided a meal.
Health, Safety & Security
Purchaser is responsible for ensuring a safe and respectful environment for the Performer at the venue.
Performer is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or disturbances caused by other guests or event staff.
Legal & Disputes
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration via www.judge.me.
Performer is an independent contractor, not an employee of the Purchaser.
